Concerns
Achondroplasia can cause people to have breathing problems, frequent ear infections, and back pain. Severe cases can cause spinal stenosis. This is a disorder that is a narrowing of the spine and may cause difficulty walking. Another problem includes hydrocephalus. This is when fluid builds up in the brain, this can cause a larger head and even brain problems.
